CLC PRESENTS #7 PHOTO GALLERY

BACK TO THE BOOK

THE FOLLOWING IS A VERY BRIEF SAMPLING OF THE 300 OR SO PHOTOS WHICH WERE TAKEN BY JENNIFER BABINEAU
DURING THE SERIES OF WORKSHOPS THAT PRODUCED THIS BOOK.

The Core Staff:
(back l to r):  Charlotte B., Kaleb P., Aidan P., Autumn S., (middle):  Amanda K., Ethanb B., Jenna F.,
Kacie O., Emma O., (front):  Caleb D.  Not shown are Kody B., Colleen B., Gage B., Brendan C., Callie F., and Matt P.

Aidan and Mr. J during the Figure Reference session.

This is Jenna with Callie and Colleen (with Autumn and Emma in the BG) during the creation of our villain.

This is Mr. J. showing the crew how to layout a page.

Gage working on his page layout.

Mr. J giving a talk on creating characters and writing the plot.  That's Kody in the red shirt with Autumn and Emma,
and that's Brendan in the green coat with Charlotte and Amanda.

This is Caleb getting help from Ms. Henderson trying to decide what his character's greatest fear would be.

This is Kacie and Kaleb working at the light boxes.

Here are Charlotte and Amanda working at varying stages of their pages.  Charlotte is penciling her final art,
and Amanda is putting the finishing touches to her rough draft layout.

Brendan and Ms. Henderson busy sketching during the Figure Reference session.  (It's not easy to hold those poses!)
That's Ethan at the table in back, and Gage is in the hot seat (see Caught in the Headlights section below)

That's Autumn finishing up her rough layout and Emma getting a helping hand from Mr. J on her final page.
In the foreground is Jenna inking her own pages.

Mr. J., during his Lettering presentation, instructs the staff on the fundamentals of the Ames Lettering Guide.

This is Matt P., who, unfortunately, was only present in the first session, where we neglected to bring a camera.
How did we get his picture, then?  Luckily, he was a repeat offender from last year's staff and we borrowed an image from there.

This is the original drawing of Shinbert P. Glompt up on the dry erase board.  He was much more gummy bearish to begin with.
The word 'romance' above his head referred to the main theme, which was to be a paranormal, action, adventure, romance.

THIS SECTION OF THE GALLERY IS TO EXPOSE SOME OF OUR LESS GLAMOROUS MOMENTS
AS SEEN IN THE DEVOLVING GROUP PHOTO ABOVE.

AND, AN EXTRA BONUS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ACTUAL BOOK BUT TOO GOOD TO PASS UP....

THOSE ARE ALL THE PHOTOS FROM THE ACTUAL, BUT DON'T FRET.  THERE ARE MANY, MANY MORE PICTURES
